Track of the Week: Avalon Emerson - One More Fluorescent Rush

Avalon Emerson lands a return to the XL recordings off-shoot as the follow up to the now revered Whites 006.

The past three years has seen a quick rise to the forefront for Avalon, from the humble beginnings of breaking her teeth at San Fransisco warehouse parties in her early twenties to the past year seeing her take centre stage at the worlds most renowned clubbing institutes, with her presence becoming ever more common at both De School and Panorama Bar.

The years following these initial DJ’ing endeavours saw her create a of slew varied releases, from the straight up house of her first record Quoi/ Pressure to the raucous but euphoric stylings of her later productions, venturing into the sound that has come to define her as an artist.

With One More Fluorescent Rush, Avalon has created possibly her most enticing release to date, another hard hitting and beautifully considered dance floor anthem, with an arpeggiated melody set to cause a state of frenzy and euphoria.
